Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Assess and manage risks, ensuring that security controls are in place to protect the organization’s data and assets
  • Day-to-day operation and maintenance of an organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure
  • Monitor security systems and networks, looking for signs of potential threats or breaches
  • Incident response and take actions to mitigate and resolve the issues
  • Configuring and managing security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools
  • Planning, executing, and managing cybersecurity projects and initiatives within an organization
  • Work closely with various teams, such as IT, security, compliance, and business units, to ensure that security projects align with the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, creating project plans, and managing project resources, budgets, and timelines
