We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Social Media to join our client’s women’s sustainable fashion brand, in a full-time role here in Brisbane.

Our client is a successful global women’s footwear brand that is driven by innovation and design. Established in Australia, and recently launched in both the United States and New Zealand markets, they are searching for an experienced Head of Social Media that can relate to their customer and their lifestyle, and bring a proven track record that will take their community efforts to the next level.

This role will see you planning and executing the entire social media strategy (with the help of Designers for assets of course). As this brand is a global retailer, you will not only be managing the socials in Australia but also the socials in New Zealand AND the United States. How cool!?

You will be posting to their loyal fan base on LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest with the opportunity to grow their TikTok community! (Start practising those dance moves! This role is perfect for someone who can learn their brand and really run with it!

The Role:

  • Operate with a core understanding of the company’s customer and brand
  • Identify and develop ideas to facilitate the social media strategy, in-line with the overall brand image
  • Create all types of content including reels and videos
  • Oversee influencer programs; guide strategy and oversee the execution
  • Set specific social media objectives and report on ROI, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Drive high levels of web traffic and customer engagement
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Maintain, update and monitor the social media calendar
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Sales and Customer Care to ensure brand consistency
  • Adhere to social media and gifting budget

Experience:

  • 3+ years of proven work experience managing the social media for a retail brand, preferably global
  • Experience in influencer activations and other partnerships
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Extensive experience with social media strategy, not just execution
  • Hands-on experience in content management (text, image and video)
  • Extensive experience with key social media channels including LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest

Salary:

$100k + super (commensurate with experience)
