Our client is on an exciting growth journey, experiencing increased demand for their enterprise SaaS and marketplace platform. They are searching for a Marketing Specialist to join their passionate and hard-working team for a 6-month parental leave contract.

This is a full-time, hybrid, 6-month contract position located in Brisbane.

As the Marketing Specialist, you will be implementing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for the entire organisation in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

The Role:

Here’s a sneak peek at your day-to-day:

  • Draft, create and report on social posts
  • Draft, create and report on emails within Pardot
  • Maintain website content on Hubspot CMS
  • Organise, set up and coordinate webinars using Zoom or GoToWebinar
  • Assist with event coordination and merchandising when required
  • Test, learn and put in place an approach to acquire users of free and paid products
  • Own and execute the Social Media strategy
  • Develop content for targeted campaigns and sales, growth and product marketing initiatives that are crafted to meet the needs of the audience
  • Create content (case studies, emails, website, eBooks, videos, blogs) to drive clear results across a variety of channels
  • Work with cross-functional practitioners (product managers, sales managers, business development managers) to create and optimise content for a great reader experience, generating qualified leads and meaningfully and increasingly engaging them
  • Understand SEO strategies, while making sure editorial integrity takes priority
  • Be customer-obsessed and anticipate what they want to know and how to best deliver the message to them
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance, keep accurate records and highlight where opportunities and improvements can occur


  • 2+ years of B2B marketing experience (ideally SaaS, dot com, construction background)
  • 2+ years of experience developing high-quality content in the form of website landing pages, email automation, social media writing, sales materials, ebooks and case studies
  • Knowledge of Pardot or other marketing automation software
  • Experience in multi-channel acquisition strategies, including content, search, social, paid and affiliate marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple company-wide goals and working with multiple teams at once
  • Dot Com / SaaS / UX background very highly regarded
