We are on the search for a Paid Search Manager to join our client’s inclusive and innovative company based in Brisbane. This is a full-time role, located here in Brisbane! Which will see you working within an industry-leading cross-function marketing team to lead the strategy and optimisation of in-house paid search campaigns!

The Role:

  • Strategic planning, execution and ongoing optimisation of paid search activity, including Search Ads 360 (SA360) bid strategies to deliver planned targets within allocated budgets
  • Managing large budgets and ensuring variances are escalated as well as ongoing analysis to identify segments to increase or reduce investment for a more profitable outcome
  • Financial forecasting and performance-based budget setting while working closely with the Senior Performance Manager to develop marketing plans
  • A continuous and robust testing framework for ad copy, landing pages, targeting etc
  • Weekly summary of performance to senior managers and monthly reporting with key
    learnings, updates and recommendations to the wider business by the agreed deadline
  • Liaise with internal analytics experts to unlock and understand first-party data that can
    accelerate the approach to audience targeting and ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Collaborate with key industry partners (Google, Microsoft etc) to stay abreast of industry changes, new products, betas and technologies. Identify key opportunities where early adoption and testing can drive business value and a competitive advantage in the market
  • Ensure correct and timely creation of Purchase Orders for owned channels, as well as accurate reconciliation of invoices against raised POs


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT or similar industry experience
  • Relevant Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform certifications (SA360)
  • Proven experience in managing complex paid search campaigns with significant
    budgets (no less than 2+ years on the tools!)
  • Highly proficient with the SA360 platform, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads interfaces and
    Editor applications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of web analytics, tag management and conversion
    tracking tools and solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of attribution and media mix modelling is desirable
