About You:

As an experienced People & Culture Manager you’ll bring passion and pragmatic approach to this newly created People & Culture Manager role. As a a natural communicator you’ll build rapport across the business to establish HR as a collaborative and problem-solving function of the business. Not afraid to have a laugh you see yourself as someone who can influence and build team culture to drive business outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a broad role in which you’ll have the opportunity to work operationally and strategically. As the company scales, so will the needs of the business and for that reason, a generalist skillset is required. Here are some of the key functions you’ll focus on:

Talent Acquisition

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Implement strategies to attract top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns and provide recommendations.
  • Cultivate open communication to address employee needs effectively.

Learning and Development

  • Identify training needs and design tailored learning programs.
  • Coordinate training sessions to promote continuous learning and career growth.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Policy Development and Compliance

  • Advocate for the HR system and maintain HR policies in compliance with legislation.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations.
  • Support managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.

Performance Management 

  • Oversee performance management, including goal setting and feedback.
  • Partner with managers to address performance issues and recognize employee achievements.
