Reporting to the Head of Product, this role is for the curious, problem solving, lifelong learner who is comfortable in and has a passion for creating user-centric and purpose-driven products. So let’s tell you about the role…

As a Product Manager, you will cultivate a deep understanding of Teach Starter’s target market and advocate for customer needs to drive a roadmap that aims towards adoption and utilisation of the Teach Starter product. You’ll work with a small and nimble cross-functional working team to optimise existing product experiences while also identifying, validating, and delivering new value to market. Pretty cool right?

The Role:

Here’s a sneak peek at your day-to-day:

  • Gather requirements, define functionality, and set goals in a clear, actionable format that can be used to communicate with the team to drive product delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with your cross-functional team to deliver functionality and goals.
  • Identify, prioritise, and resolve technical, functional, and business quality issues across all devices, countries, and use cases that are applicable to the product.
  • Ensure Product Quality by identifying technical, functional and business quality issues.
  • Establish metrics and measure the efficacy of product experiments, deployments, and strategies. Use data to generate actionable insights, leverage those insights to achieve goals set for the product, and connect those quantified goals to meaningful outcomes for the business.
  • Cultivate deep empathy for our customers’ pain points and needs to understand how users engage with the product. Use insights to make better decisions, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business.
  • Drive meaningful outcomes for the business by connecting product functionality and goals to the strategic objectives of your team and the company overall.
  • Define an overall vision for your area of the product that connects to the strategy for the team and the company. Define a roadmap of prioritised features and initiatives that deliver against that vision.
  • Identify stakeholders impacted by your area of ownership and work with those stakeholders to factor their requirements into product decisions. Leverage senior managers to help achieve goals, and positively influence the strategic direction of your team and the company overall.
  • Achieve buy-in across the broader organisation by showcasing outcomes, while managing expectations on upcoming work.

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a product management or closely related role
  • Proven experience partnering with UI/UX designers and engineering to create and deliver solutions and interfaces that customers love and business growth
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital customer experience principles, particularly within digital subscription products
  • Advanced understanding and application of product discovery and agile software development methodologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into actionable strategies and tactics
  • Exceptional project management skills a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously, lead projects, own initiatives and get the job done!

Salary:
