We are on the search for sharp, hungry and switched on Sales Development Representatives to join our client’s top team in the SaaS space, based in Brisbane.

This role is an opportunity to really hone your sales skills. Let us break this down a bit…

Firstly, to be successful in this role, you must be as comfortable with rejection as you are successful and have the tenacity to achieve the goals you set out. For example, booking out appointments. This role will also have you leverage a quality customer list to contact through any means necessary. This could be via phone, email and LinkedIn (to name a few) with the goal being to book out all product demo spots, building a strong sales pipeline.

If you were told to bring only one item with you to an abandoned island, it would be your phone (and maybe a wireless battery pack). You must love picking up the phone for a chat with anyone, anywhere.

About You:

  • Self-starter who has a drive for success

  • Strong understanding of prospecting and knowledge around how to leverage multiple platforms for touchpoints
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role

The Role:

  • Work collaboratively with the Growth Salesperson to build an active pipeline of leads
  • Utilise a toolkit of platforms to reach prospective clients and book out appointment slots for the Growth Salesperson
  • Proactively achieve weekly, monthly appointment targets
  • Actively up-skill on knowledge around the SaaS product and industries you are trying to penetrate
  • Manage and nurture client relationships with the goal of having them book a demo
  • Call, message, video prospect and email active leads on a daily basis

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Some experience in sales development, appointment setting, prospecting and outbound sales
  • Ability to build and grow strong relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Capable of taking your own learning and development into your own hands and taking complete ownership of upskilling yourself
  • Experience in door-to-door sales or cold calling is advantageous
  • Willing to learn advanced follow-up skills, unique prospecting techniques and generate a minimum of four booked demo’s per week

Salary:

Approx. $60-80k + Super
