We are working with a longstanding client based right here in Brisbane, and we are on the search for a Technical Project Manager to join their team. The software they build is super interesting and there is plenty of work in the pipeline.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will work across multiple teams, including external shareholders, and you will manage the technical delivery of product features and projects in line with the company’s broader business objectives.

About You:

  • You have Grade A – interpersonal, negotiation and conflict management skills
  • You have the ability to see the full product vision and can assess the impact
  • You are quick to learn and understand new tools and software solutions
  • You love to use your creativity to problem solve
  • You can effectively prioritise and execute tasks while working independently
  • You can adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including subject matter experts, managers and customers

The Role:

  • Become an expert in the product, understand its features, USP, target market and value the product delivers to customers across all market segments
  • Plan and manage organisational projects including budgeting, resource planning, milestones and measures
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Engage and manage stakeholders, users, customers, SMEs and other supporting roles in the delivery of the project
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans
  • Deliver to specification (agreed scope, detailed requirements, time, cost and quality)
  • Track project progress and provide accurate and timely reports on project status
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
  • Demonstrate sound judgement, business acumen and decision making, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment

Experience:

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects within agreed timeframes and to budget
  • 3+ years working in a similar role
  • Experience working with software development teams
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative and consultative environment
  • Ability to facilitate business solution workshops, involving participants from senior management to business users
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management

Salary:

$120k+ Super
